Plain-language terms for shopping with Braai Baas in South Africa.
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Braai Baas website and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order you accept these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours, packaging and minor design details may vary from images shown.
All products are intended for domestic braai use. Follow the included instructions and safety guidance at all times.
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment is processed securely by our payment providers through Shopify checkout. We do not store your card details.
Promotional prices apply while stocks last and may be changed or withdrawn without notice. Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
An order is accepted once payment has been confirmed and you receive an order confirmation email.
We may cancel and refund an order where an item is out of stock, a pricing error occurred, or we cannot verify payment or delivery details.
Delivery timelines quoted on our shipping page are estimates and are not guaranteed. Courier delays outside our control do not entitle you to cancel a dispatched order.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your parcel and report transit damage within 48 hours.
Unused products in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Return shipping is for your account unless the product is faulty.
Every order is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
The Braai Baas electric grid cleaner carries a 30-day money-back guarantee from the delivery date. If it is not for you, tell us within 30 days and we refund you.
The guarantee requires the product and its packaging to be returned in resaleable condition. It excludes consumables that have been used up, water damage to the motor unit, misuse, unauthorised repairs and commercial use.
Braai equipment is used near heat and open flame. You are responsible for using our products safely and keeping them away from children.
To the extent permitted by law, Braai Baas is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
The Braai Baas name, logo, product imagery and website content are our property and may not be reproduced without written permission.
We collect only the information needed to process your order and support you afterwards. We do not sell your personal information.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
