Charge the unit fully via USB-C (about 2–3 hours), press the power button to spin the head, and run the bristles across your grid while the braai is still warm — not glowing. Keep the cleaner moving in steady passes and let the brush do the work; there’s no need to press hard. Replace the brush head when the bristles wear down.
Use it on a warm — not lit — grid. Let the coals die down and the grid cool to a warm, touchable temperature. Running the brush over a glowing-hot or flaming grid can scorch the bristles and risks burns. A warm grid loosens grease and carbon far better than a cold one anyway.
Yes. The spinning brass and stainless bristle heads are designed for metal grids — stainless steel, cast iron, and chrome-plated grates all clean up safely. Keep the cleaner moving and avoid dwelling on one spot. For softer coatings, use the lighter Turbo-Heads and test a small corner first.
